Our new adventure!

Late Friday night, our real estate agent, Brian, sent Jared a text message telling him that the bank accepted our offer!! The house is ours!! We're so excited. So, as promised, here is pictures of our humble abode! Oh! Just an FYI, this was on a website we found. We didn't take the pics, nor is that our furniture/decorations in the pictures. Now let's begin the tour!

First front view

A little closer to the front

When you walk in, this is a little small living room on your right

keep walking forward and this is our dining room

in our dining room, to the right is this view of the kitchen (side note: the door on the right leads to the garage)

another angle of the kitchen. The garage door is the door on the left

if you go down three or four stairs from our dining room, you'd come into our larger living room

another view of the large living room... another side note- there is a laundry room and a bedroom down here.

If you go up about 5-10 stairs (the stair that go down and the stairs that go up are right next to each other- next to the dining room) you'd come to ...
first bedroom

second bedroom

and master bedroom

there is also a master bathroom, second bathroom, and linen closet on this level. Now let's go outside!

If you turn to your right, here's our swing set

if you turn to your left... here's our shed!

Now, that ends our tour! For those that are interested... we're hoping to close on the week of Feb. 15. Big moving day would be Feb. 27!!

So... Life

Life here hasn't been that interesting lately. Okay, so that may be a little bit of a lie. It's been great. Let me see... Jared is still working and loving Symantec. Nothing new work wise. He has had a calling switch though. Recently he was released as our ward mission leader. He is know scout master for our 12 year old boys. He's been loving it. It's been a great calling for him so far. Other than that he's busy keeping me sane still. I am busy with school. I am no longer... or maybe people didn't know this... with the hospital program. Christmas break I switched over to what's called the traditional program. Unfortunately this means I won't graduate until May 2011. Fortunately I can cut back on work now! Which has been done. I now only work one day a week at the hospital. My callings are the same... primary pianist and cub scout committee. This is known by lots of people, but to publicly announce, we have put in an offer on a house and have a preliminary acceptance on the offer. Jared signed more paperwork (does it ever end?) and hopefully the end of this week we'll get the official, final approval. I promise pictures... once it's officially ours :0) or maybe once I'm able to get over there. It's in our same ward, just about two blocks north. This house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bath. It has a 2 car garage and a nice, big backyard. Yes, more than we definitely need. We'll probably end up there for a while though, is my feeling. Anyway~ that's us in a nut shell. Maybe Jared will get better at weekly letters soon. I wouldn't hold your breathe though. :0)

6 years old... already?!?

On Sunday, we went over to my brothers and celebrated our niece's 6th birthday! I cannot believe that she's 6 already. Lately, I've been feeling old!! We had a yummy Mexican dinner, followed by opening her present from us, then we ate delicious cupcakes that our sister-in-law and niece made together (as well as the frosting). Our cute little niece frosted and put sprinkles on the cupcakes all by herself. So, her present from us was a hairbrush and different things to do her hair with (she loves hair stuff as long as Mom doesn't pick it out). She had fun sitting on Jared's shoulders and brushing his hair. In mid brushing Jared's hair, their neighbors came over to have cupcakes. We sang to our niece and had fun talking. Anyway~ here are some pictures from that fun night.

Gotta try the hair stuff out on Uncle Jared

more talent show pictures

Here are some more pictures from the Payne talent show. Enjoy!

Little Brian showing us his talent of throwing a ball. He's an amazing thrower! Has a great love for balls too.

Jess and I preparing to "shake it" for Jason's talent show. Love the super pose I've got goin' on?

This isn't a good picture by any means, but hopefully you can tell that the 4 of us (from left to right: Jess, me, Tawnya, and Jill) are "shaking it".

Jess reading a great book to the kids for their talent. She did awesome with the whole accent thing.

My baby sister's married!!

Jan. 02, 2010 Melissa Michelle Zobrist became Melissa Michelle Harrison! We're so excited to have Justin be officially in our family. He's been in the family for a while, but now it's official. Here are a couple pictures from their big day.

Here's the happy couple

The four sisters

The original Alan & Rachelle Zobrist family with the newest addition to the family! Kind of a funky picture. Hope the professional photographer did better.

Jared and our 3 year old nephew. Noah wasn't happy being away from his mom, I'm sure.

Justin finally realized he's stuck! Just kidding, just caught him at the "perfect" time.
