A rainbow of bottles

Devin and I went out Thursday night for a date. We were excited to have some time to ourselves. Recently "Thor" has started to grow. FINALLY! We went shopping for some new baby stuff for the guy. Even when "Thor" is not around, it is all about him. A few weeks ago we were trying out a different bottle every few days to try and get the boy to eat better. We would buy and use 1 bottle

for 2-3 days and see how our guy ate. We eventually found something that seemed to work the best for our under-eater. After the decision was made I purchased a set of 3 bottles.

Soon afterward Devin insisted that she needed a bottle for every day of the week for the baby. That means we purchased three more.

Now we were set, until tonight when we were shopping. As we were passing by the bottles my Drop Dead Gorgeous Wife, the Spectacular Devin Payne,  picked up 1 more single bottle. I just let the topic ride and when we got home Devin explained her OCD compulsion that needed to be satisfied. Here is what she was striving for.

Light Blue
Dark Blue
Light Blue
Green
Now with only 7 bottles this pattern could not repeat and that drove Devin absolutely, completely, totally, and in every way INSANE.  This had to be fixed and only an 8th Light Blue bottle could repair the troubled mind, and hopefully it did so. Now our bottles are lined up with the following pattern

Light Blue
Dark Blue
Light Blue
Green

I am afraid that Devin will need another 4 bottles so that when she takes one out of the cupboard it can be replaced with the appropriate color to feed the compulsion. Last of all, for me I will be banned from putting bottles in the cupboard to protect the sacred pattern. YAAAAAAAAA less dishes for me.

To be honest, I wouldn't put it past myself to do the same thing. :)
