Think I forgot?

Yeah, I didn't forget to finish the final posting to our NM/TX trip. It's just been a crazy, busy, yet fun last couple of weeks!!

Jared is same ol', same ol'... still working hard at work, scouts, and his diet. He's doing a no carbs, no sugar diet. He has lost quite a bit of weight and has been AMAZING at sticking to it... despite the little devil on his shoulder (aka his wife).

I'm busy as ever with "Thor" and all that is included with stay-at-home-mom. I will have my first Activity Days activity tomorrow!! So stinkin' excited. Other than that, nothing too exciting

"Thor"... cute, sweet, loveable "Thor". He's now 6 months. Crazy, huh? At his check up he was

12 lbs 5.5 ounces -> less than 3% (we may make it to 3-6 month clothes soon!!)
25 inches -> 7% (wahoo! made it on the charts)
44 cm -> 57% (yeup, still has a huge head) :o)

He is enjoying eating now. We're still working with Kids on the Move, but who knows for how much longer. He's starting to sit up on his own pretty good. We're stilling working on the whole back to tummy rolling. He can do tummy to back, no prob though! He's as smiley, happy, and adorable as ever. We are mean parents and took away his pacifier. He was waking up twice in the middle of the night... just because it came out. So we had a couple of bad nights without it, but now he's pretty good!! I'm finally getting sleep again. YAY!! He still has to be double swaddled, but that's okay. We're all getting sleep. :o)

Now on to our last part of our TX trip. Lubbock!! Lubbock was awesome! We had a great time, great company of Brian (Jared's bro) and his family (Tawnya, Faye, Daisy, and Liz), and just had fun relaxing. We went to a really cool science museum.

Look!! Faye caught a Jared

Jared feeling Daisy to the dinosaur

All of us in the boat... not sure who the little boy is though :o)

While we were in Lubbock, we had the privilege of  going to the hospital where Brian is a medical resident at. During his break, we decided to go to the cafeteria and get ice cream. Ms. Daisy was having trouble reaching the water to wash her hands and face. Here was Jared's solution:

Pretty good solution, I think. We had an awesome tea party with the girls too. Here's a pic of it. Please don't mind my drug-out look. I know I was way tired here.

Jared went out and got pizza for us. He came back with colored bubbles too. The girls LOVED them.

Lubbock was amazing too. We're so grateful for everyone that let us intrude on them during our NM/TX trip!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We had a blast and really enjoyed seeing everyone. I won't lie though, it was good to get home after our time in Lubbock!

So that's it for now. Love to all!!
